Bruce Pomeroy

Co-Founder, Managing Principal
Bruce Pomeroy co-founded Evergreen in 1974. In addition to his management responsibilities, Bruce supports Evergreen’s Acquisition Team with strategic planning, deal structuring and negotiation. He also works with customers and employees to continuously improve the quality of Evergreen’s development work and increase the value created through Evergreen’s relationships with its customers. Bruce has more than 35 years of real estate development experience and currently serves as a Trustee of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). Bruce holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Pomona College.

Andrew Skipper

Co-Founder, Managing Principal
Andy Skipper co-founded Evergreen in 1974. Andy works in the general management, strategic planning and new business opportunities of the company. He has been active in real estate development with Evergreen for over 30 years. Andy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry from the University of California at Berkeley and a Master in Business Administration from the University of California at Los Angeles.

Laura Ortiz

Managing Principal
Laura Ortiz is a Managing Principal and oversees the firm's Project Management division. Her responsibilities include the oversight and direction of retail projects for the company ranging from 1 to 50 acres, developing and implementing tools and systems for the management of Evergreen’s projects, new client development and relationship management, tenant lease negotiations, and consultant hiring and management. Laura holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance & Economics from the University of Arizona and joined Evergreen in 1994.

Doug Leventhal

Principal, Chief Operating Officer
Doug Leventhal is Evergreen's Chief Operating Officer. Doug has been involved with all aspects of commercial development and is currently involved with overseeing and directing the development of retail projects nationwide ranging in size from 1 to 45 acres. Doug is also the Designated Broker for Evergreen Commercial Realty, which is the brokerage arm of Evergreen. Doug earned an undergraduate Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Georgia and Master of Architecture (MArch) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degrees from Arizona State University. Doug currently serves as Chairman of the Board for Valley Partnership as well as serves on the Board of Advisors for Arizona State University’s Master of Real Estate Development program. Doug joined Evergreen in 2000..

Chris Bergren

Principal
Chris is a Principal of Evergreen and oversees the Acquisition Team. His primary responsibilities include site acquisition work for national retailers in various Southern California markets including Los Angeles, Orange County, San Bernardino, Riverside and Ventura. Chris works closely with our retailer clients and is actively involved in store placement strategy, site acquisition and assemblage, deal structuring and negotiations, preliminary due-diligence, site planning and deal documentation. Chris has more than 15 years experience in real estate finance, investment and development and has worked for both public and private real estate companies focusing on different product types. He holds a Master of Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science with emphasis in Finance and Real Estate from the University of Southern California. Chris has been with Evergreen since 2005.

Tyler Carlson

Principal
Tyler Carlson is a Principal and leads the acquisition of commercial properties in Colorado and restaurant development nationwide. During his tenure with Evergreen, Tyler has been involved in all facets of real estate development across dozens of projects. He is a licensed and active real estate broker in Colorado and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI). Tyler graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brigham Young University with dual Bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Economics and earned a Master’s of Real Estate Development (MRED) from the University of Southern California. Tyler joined Evergreen in 2003.

Rogg Collins

Principal
Rogg Collins is a Principal and member of Evergreen’s Acquisition Team. His primary responsibilities include site acquisition work for national retailers in various Southern California markets including Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside, Kern County and San Luis Obispos County. Rogg works closely with Evergreen’s retail clients and is actively involved in store placement strategy, site acquisition and assemblage, deal structuring and negotiations, preliminary due-diligence, site planning and deal documentation. Rogg has 20 years of experience in the real estate industry representing numerous retailers, both as a broker and an in-house real estate representative. Rogg holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with emphasis in Finance and Marketing from the University of California at Berkeley and has been with Evergreen since 2001.

Dana Dragon

Principal
Dana oversees Evergreen’s real estate consulting services work for lenders, law firms, insurance companies, portfolio consultants, investors and owners. Her team provides property management and asset management for commercial properties nationwide. She has more than 17 years of experience in the real estate industry managing tenant roll-outs and developing stores for retail users and has completed development work on over 100 projects. Dana holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from UCLA and has been with Evergreen since 1993.

Ken Gatt

Principal
Ken Gatt is a Principal and leads the marketing and leasing of over 26 commercial corners, as well as the procurement of new customers that require development services.  Ken has worked in the real estate industry since 1986 and was formerly with The Pederson Group and Westcor Partners where he specialized in retail development and leasing. Ken has completed over 750 lease transactions with various local, regional and national tenants. Ken recently served as the State Director of International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) for Arizona and New Mexico.  Ken received a bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University and has been with Evergreen since 2003.

Tim O’Neil

Principal
Tim is a Principal of Evergreen and manages strategic capital and investor relationships, Arizona and Colorado acquisitions and Evergreen’s Mexican and Chilean partnerships. Tim holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy from the University of Arizona and a Master’s in International Business Administration from Thunderbird School of Global Management. Tim has been with Evergreen since 1998.

Heather Personne

Principal
Heather Personne is a Principal of Evergreen and serves as a Director of Project Management. Heather has been active in all aspects of real estate development and is currently involved with the oversight and direction of retail projects for the company ranging from 1 to 50 acres.  She has extensive experience with neighborhood shopping center development, including negotiations and work for regional and national small shop tenants, fast food restaurants, banks, grocery anchors and other retailers. Heather graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and French from the University of Arizona. Heather joined Evergreen in 1995.
