Evergreen’s Bruce Pomeroy Becomes Executive Chairman as Laura Ortiz Takes Helm as President
Phoenix [April 18, 2017] – In response to strategic growth and expansion into new markets, Phoenix-based Evergreen Development Company announced changes to its executive leadership structure.
Effective April, 2017, Laura Ortiz will take the helm as the company’s new President. Ortiz has been a key member of Evergreen’s executive and leadership team since 2001 and assumes the role previously held by Bruce Pomeroy, who will now serve as Executive Chairman. Together with Andrew Skipper, Chief Executive Officer and Tyler Carlson, Executive Vice President, Ortiz and Pomeroy are the owners of the company. Doug Leventhal, who continues in his role as Chief Operating Officer, rounds out the Executive Leadership team.
Pomeroy, who will continue his full-time involvement and ownership at Evergreen for the next decade, announced the appointment: “Laura is an exceptional leader.
