Family Entertainment Center with Restaurant, Bowling, Laser Tag, Arcade to Occupy Southwest Corner of 144th Ave. and Washington St.
THORNTON, Colo. – Jan. 27, 2016 – Evergreen Development announced that the company has sold a 5.34-acre parcel of land on the southwest corner of 144th Avenue and Washington Street in north Thornton to Summit Entertainment Group, owners of The Summit entertainment concept.
The land will be developed into a 49,980-square-foot family entertainment facility, complete with bowling lanes, laser tag and an arcade, as well as high-quality dining options for both families and adults The Summit Thornton, which is expected to break ground this spring, will be modeled after its sister properties, The Summit Windsor and The Summit Interquest, in Colorado Springs.
Located adjacent to The Grove shopping center anchored by Cabela’s, this is Evergreen’s second parcel sale. In Dec. 2014, the company sold 24 acres on the same corner to Lennar Corporation for a 465-unit apartment project named Parkhouse, which is currently leasing with initial move-ins occurring March, 2016.
Evergreen continues to market the remaining land it owns adjacent to The Grove, including 2 acres at the southeast corner of 144th and Grant Street adjacent to The Summit Thornton and 12 acres south on Grant opposite Lennar’s Parkhouse community.
