Phoenix-based Evergreen Devco Inc. has broken ground on a 222-unit multifamily community in Mesa.
Called The Homestead at Lehi, the property will offer three-story garden style apartments averaging 922 square feet at 2261 E. McDowell Road.
MT Builders is general contractor and BMA Architecture is architect for the $62.5 million project that is expected to be completed by August 2027. Atwell handles engineering and construction services and Collaborative V contributed landscape architectural and land planning services.
The development is expected to create more than 300 construction jobs during the building phase, said Jim Bulsiewicz, Evergreen Devco’s vice president of multifamily development in Arizona.
