EVERGREEN AWARDED PROPERTY MANAGEMENT CONTRACT FOR UPTOWN OFFICE TOWER
Phoenix, AZ (September 21, 2012) – Evergreen, a diversified real estate company headquartered in Phoenix, today announced it has been named sole property manager for the One Thomas building, a 13-story office building on the southwest corner of Central Ave. and Thomas Rd. The 98,000-square-foot property is home to the U.S. Small Business Administration, Murphy Karber, PLC and the Arizona Foundation for Women. “We are delighted to add One Thomas to our property management portfolio,“ said Dana Dragon, Evergreen Principal. “The prominent structure and high traffic location lend themselves well to office and retail uses, and we are confident our experience and resources will be distinct assets for the new owners”.
The owner of the property, One Thomas Building, LLC, has begun a major redevelopment of the building. Planned improvements include re-purposing of the ground floor to include indoor outdoor retail spaces on both Central and Thomas frontages, comprehensive renovation of major infrastructure, and build-out of both speculative and leased spaces. “Evergreen’s attention to detail and pride of ownership are already evident, and we expect its professionals to play important roles in our redevelopment plans, with the ultimate goal of establishing the building as the prominent midtown facility and setting a course for the future of midtown Phoenix in general,” said Bob Karber, a principal of One Thomas Building.
